Scam radar: quick guide
Fake job offers
Real employers don't charge registration or “training” fees, and don't pay you to like videos.
Lottery & prize scams
You can't win a lottery you never entered. Any “fee to release your prize” is a scam.
UPI requests
You never need to enter your UPI PIN to RECEIVE money. A PIN prompt means money is leaving you.
Payment links
Check the domain carefully. Banks don't send KYC-update links over SMS or WhatsApp.
Fake customer support
Find helpline numbers on the official website or app — never from search ads or random messages.
Impersonation & phishing
Messages “from” police, customs, CBI or a relative in trouble that demand urgent money are red flags.
Lost money or shared details? In India, call the cyber-fraud helpline 1930 immediately and report at cybercrime.gov.in. Also contact your bank to block the card/account.
